Formative Experiences

My musical experience is the origin of my special interest in Neuropsychology (learning and memory) and Social Psychology (communication and cooperation) as a graduated psychologist.
In music, learning and its practical application is always a simultaneous process.
I began my musical education (Musikalische Früherziehung) at the age of 6. During the following years of musical training, I repeatedly encountered dedicated teachers who also served as my mentors. At school I sang and played cello and recorder in performances with choir and orchestra, and from the age of 12 I was regularly involved in professional music events with engagements at the Musiktheater im Revier (MIR). I have also been teaching music since my high school days.
